Now this was a fun image to work on. I experimented like crazy with the lighting and the colors and I'm really happy with how the final look came out. I've always been fascinated by the Japanese fishing villages, so I wanted to see what it'd be like if they built their houses and literally lived on the water, with boats as their main transportation. I attempted to make this more of a Studio Ghibli style, and it was a great learning experience overall.
